Clays Lane Pavilion – Proposed Extension Project
Branston Parish Council has a wonderful opportunity to source outside funding to help enhance the Pavilion building in Clays Lane Park for greater community use.
The main room of the Pavilion has proved far more popular for use by local people and groups than ever imagined. So now planning permission has been granted to extend the entrance - to provide a much larger public room and facility for the community.
This work will enable much greater local use – and especially allow greater social-distancing under present conditions. A landscaped garden area will also be created with seating for groups to use and for visitors to the Park to rest and enjoy.
The Parish Council is looking to raise up to £75,000 in grants for this project to go ahead. I Please give us your thoughts: - clerkbranstonparishcouncil@gmail.com.
